In Wicked Part One, Elphaba is a witch with magical powers that scare everyone. Glinda, her enemy-turned-best friend, wants to be a witch but has no real power. At the end of the movie, Elphaba sings the words, “Unlimited, together we’re unlimited,” to Glinda. As Elphaba prepares to go on the run and save the oppressed animals in Oz, she asks Glinda to go with her. Even though Glinda has no real power, Elphaba says that together they are unlimited.
This reminds me of God, and how, even though He is truly unlimited, He invites us to partake in His work.
Remember when Jesus called his first disciples? Jesus, the God of the universe who can do anything, walks up to Peter and Andrew (a couple of fishermen) and says, “Come, follow me, and I will send you out to fish for people” (Mark 1:17).
What an awesome God we have, that He would include us in what He’s doing.

16¶Passing alongside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.
17And Jesus said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you become fishers of men.”
18And immediately they left their nets and followed him.
19And going on a little farther, he saw James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, who were in their boat mending the nets.
20And immediately he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants and followed him.
